Operating Instructions for Industrial Floor Scrubbers

I. Pre-Use Preparation

  • Inspect the equipment: Check the machine body, brush discs, squeegee blades and other components to ensure no damage, deformation or loosening.
  • Confirm the power supply: For corded models, inspect the power cord and socket grounding; for battery-powered models, ensure the battery level is ≥50% and charge in a well-ventilated, dry area.
  • Add liquids: Fill the clean water tank with water, add cleaning solution as needed, and do not exceed the maximum capacity.
  • Wear protective gear: Put on non-slip shoes and work clothes to prevent accidents.

II. Operating Steps

  • Start the equipment: Turn on the power (some models require a key to start) and check that the indicator lights and display show no faults.
  • Adjust the height: Adjust the height of the brush discs and squeegee blades according to the floor material to ensure they fit closely without damaging the floor.
  • Start cleaning: Push or drive the machine slowly—recommended speed is 5-8km/h for ride-on models and normal walking speed for walk-behind models. Simultaneously activate the brush disc and suction functions, and monitor the cleaning effect.
  • Safe operation: Slow down when turning; stop and avoid obstacles when encountered.
  • End cleaning: When the task is completed or the dirty water tank reaches 80% capacity, turn off the brush disc, suction function and power supply, then move the machine to the designated location.

III. Post-Use Maintenance

  • Clean the dirty water tank: Drain the dirty water, rinse with clean water and air-dry.
  • Maintain components: Remove the brush discs to clear debris and check for wear; clean the squeegee rubber strips and filter screen, and replace if damaged.
  • Wipe the machine body: Wipe dust with a damp cloth; use neutral detergent for stubborn stains and avoid electronic components.
  • Charge and store: Charge battery-powered models promptly and unplug once fully charged; store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Charge every 7-10 days if not in use for a long time.

IV. Safety Precautions

  • Do not perform maintenance while the machine is running; disconnect the power and ensure it stops completely before operation.
  • Only personnel who have received professional training are allowed to operate the machine.
  • Pay attention to the center of gravity when cleaning slopes to prevent slipping or tipping.
  • Immediately disconnect the power and report for repair if abnormalities such as unusual noises or smoke occur.
