Precautions for Using a Floor Grinder

1. Before use, check the integrity of the machine to ensure that the operational controls and electrical components are not damp, and that the operational control switches and knobs are intact. 2. Understand the actual construction and foundation conditions, and select an appropriate machine speed. 3. Choose the grinding method (such as dry grinding or wet grinding) according to the condition of the base surface. When using a water cart, first fill the water tank with clean construction water. Do not overfill it when the machine is tilted or when replacing abrasives to prevent water from splashing into the electrical box. Meanwhile, use a water suction machine to clean the grinding water in a timely manner. 4. Install and replace the grinding disc. Select a grinding disc that matches the construction conditions and processes, and ensure it is installed correctly and securely. When installing the grinding disc, tilt the machine so that the support frame is in contact with the ground. Turn the machine's operation switch to the off position and press the emergency stop button to lock it. 5. Install the waterproof cover. The connection of the waterproof cover should be located at the rear end of the machine. Return the machine to the working mode and adjust the folding handle for easy operation. 6. Ensure that the leakage protection device is working properly. Connect the machine's waterproof power plug to the machine socket, check that all machine control buttons are turned off, and then connect to the power supply. When using the wet grinding method, turn on the water switch to ensure that water flows onto the construction surface. Select the working speed, release the emergency stop button, and choose the operating direction to start operation. 8. During the operation of the machine, ensure that the machine's cable keeps a certain distance from the grinding head to avoid personal injury caused by the machine's wiring. 9. Stopping the operation: For a long-term shutdown, press the emergency stop button, turn off the water switch, and disconnect the power supply. 10. After completing the work, clean up any residual water inside the machine.
